Where do these answers come from?

We picked the points where new players most often get stuck and answered each one briefly. The answers rely on WPT Global's terms, help center, payment pages and promotion pages, checked in October and November 2026. Where WPT Global hasn't said something clearly, we say so instead of filling the gap with rumor. The questions follow roughly the order you'll meet them in: the platform first, then the account, installing, deposits and withdrawals, and finally account safety.

Each answer is short. For anything you have to do step by step, such as signing up, installing, depositing or withdrawing, follow the link to the full guide. Amounts are in US dollars, and promotion times are in UTC+8.

What if this page and WPT Global disagree?

Promotion figures change. If an amount here differs from what WPT Global shows, the official announcement applies. This is an independent player guide, not WPT Global, so accounts, payments and promotions are all handled by WPT Global itself. No account yet? You can start here.

Our invite code is coming soon. Signing up through this button still gets you the official welcome package; once published, the download links from this page carry the code.

How old must you be, and is online poker legal where you live?

WPT Global only accepts players who are 18 or over, or the legal gambling age where they live, and registering confirms you meet that requirement. Online poker laws vary from country to country, and we don't draw conclusions about legality anywhere. Check the rules where you live, never use a VPN to get around WPT Global's restrictions, and if gambling is becoming a problem, contact a support service in your country.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are WPTG and WPT Global the same platform?

Yes. WPTG is the short name players use for WPT Global, and the official Android installer and WPT Global's Reddit community use it too. The site is run by Everstronglink Limited and offers Hold'em, Omaha, Short Deck, tournaments and casino games.

Which poker games does WPT Global offer?

Texas Hold'em at 6-max and 8-max tables, Omaha with four or five cards, and Short Deck. Tournaments include MTTs, PKOs, Mystery Bounty, Sit & Go, freerolls, satellites and Global Spins, and a casino section adds slots, baccarat, blackjack and roulette.

What rake does WPT Global charge on cash games?

WPT Global's rake page shows 4% at most cash-game stakes, with some at 3% or 5%. Every hand has a cap that depends on the stakes and on whether 2 to 4 or 5 or more players are dealt in; the table information shows the exact figures.

Which countries can't play on WPT Global?

WPT Global serves more than 135 countries. Its restricted list includes the US, the UK, Hong Kong, mainland China, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore and India, among others, and using a VPN to get around it breaks the terms.

Do I have to verify my identity before playing?

No. You can register and play first. WPT Global asks for ID, proof of address from the last three months and similar documents at certain thresholds or before your first withdrawal, and usually verifies within 72 hours of getting everything.

Can I install WPT Global on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Android uses the official APK, since Google Play has no official app in many regions. The iOS app is in the App Store only in some countries, so check yours first. There are also Windows and Mac clients.

How much should my first deposit be?

It depends on how much you will play. Only the first deposit counts for the welcome package, and US$10 already brings US$15.50. The deposit also comes back as cashback that must be unlocked within 60 days, so pick an amount your volume can clear.

Are WPT Global withdrawals slow?

The withdrawal policy says they are usually processed within 12 hours; the terms say up to 72 hours after verification. A first withdrawal that needs KYC, or a large one, takes longer. You also need 1x turnover and must use your latest deposit method.

Do I have to enter an invite code?

No. The code is optional, and the welcome package depends on your first deposit, not on a code. If you sign up through this site, check that the Referral code field in the app shows (Invite code coming soon) and type it in if it is empty.

How do I join a WPT Global freeroll?

WPT Global runs freerolls that cost nothing to enter and can pay real money; you'll find them in the tournament lobby of the app. The welcome package also includes tournament tickets, starting with a US$2.50 ticket for a US$10 first deposit.

What happens if I don't log in for a long time?

Under the terms, an account with no login or logout for more than 13 months becomes dormant and you are notified. If you don't withdraw within 30 days of the notice, a US$10 fee is charged every 30 days, so cash out before a long break.

Can I take a break or self-exclude?

Yes. Email WPT Global support to request a time-limited or permanent self-exclusion, which covers the poker and casino products alike. WPT Global's responsible gaming page also refers players to GamCare for help.

How do I contact WPT Global support?

Email [email protected] for support and complaints; the deposit and withdrawal pages also offer live chat, and WPT Global says it is available 24/7. Include your username and when the problem happened to speed things up.

Are WPT Global's games fair?

The footer of WPT Global's invite page shows a GLI certified RNG (random number generator) badge. We confirmed that the badge is displayed but could not check the certificate behind it, so treat it as WPT Global's own claim.
