WPT Global Invite Code: Where It Goes and What It Does

How do you sign up with the invite code in 5 steps?

1. Open the invite page from our button. It is WPT Global's English invite page, and our code travels in the page address rather than in a box you fill in.
2. Download the app from that page. The Download WPT Global button passes the code to the Android, Windows and Mac downloads. iPhone works differently; see the download guide.
3. Open the app and tap Register. The account is created inside the app, because the English invite page has no web sign-up form.
4. Check the Referral code field. It should read Invite code coming soon. If it is blank, type the code in exactly as shown here.
5. Leave Bonus code empty and submit. Bonus code is for promotion codes only. Fill in your email, password and username, submit, then verify your email.

Invite code, referral code, bonus code: what is the difference?

"Invite code" and "referral code" are two names for the same thing: the code that records who introduced you to WPT Global. In the app it goes in the Referral code field. A bonus code is something else. It is tied to a particular promotion and has a field of its own, so don't put one in the other's place.

Note: WPT Global's bonus policy allows one bonus per promotion. If you hold another bonus code, read the terms of the promotion it belongs to before you use it.

How does the code get from the link into the app?

Nothing needs typing on the invite page itself. The code sits in the page address, and when you tap Download WPT Global, the Android, Windows and Mac download links carry it too. Does the installed app always fill the Referral code field in by itself? WPT Global has not stated this publicly; official announcements prevail. So treat that field as your checkpoint: if it shows our code, carry on; if it is blank, type the code in. Be extra careful on iPhone, where the install may not carry the code at all.

The full walk-through, with the KYC rules, is in the sign-up guide.

Why do different websites show different codes?

Every referrer has a personal code, which is why codes on social media, videos and other sites all differ. The form takes one referral code, each account is linked to one referrer, and since the terms allow one account per person, you can't open more accounts to use more codes.

If a code you find online is a promotion code, it goes in the Bonus code field, not the Referral code field. Which promotion it belongs to and whether it combines with the welcome package depend on that promotion's own terms; where those are silent, WPT Global has not stated this publicly and official announcements prevail.

What do you get for using an invite code?

WPT Global's invite pages don't promise the invited player anything extra for using a code. What you get is the welcome package every new player receives on a first deposit: US$15.50 straight away for a single deposit of US$10 or more, your first deposit back as cashback up to US$3,000, and up to US$248 in tournament tickets depending on the amount. The details are on the welcome bonus page.

The reward for an invite goes to the referrer. One of WPT Global's invite pages says each friend invited earns the referrer a ticket to a US$10K Crazy Freeroll, and the full rules of the invite program aren't published. This site is an independent guide, not WPT Global, and we may receive that kind of reward when you register with our code. Your welcome package and its conditions stay exactly the same.

Who can use an invite code, and what should you check first?

The welcome package is for players joining WPT Global for the first time, and only their first deposit counts. You must be 18 or over, promotions count one player per household or device, and the welcome offer doesn't apply in Mexico or the Philippines. WPT Global itself isn't available in restricted countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom.

Before you tap the final button on the form, take ten seconds:

• The Referral code field shows our code; if it doesn't, type it in
• The Bonus code field holds a promotion code or nothing at all
• The email address is one you read, since you verify the account through it

What if you only remember the code after registering?

Whether a referral code can be added after registration: WPT Global has not stated this publicly; official announcements prevail. A different problem is making a first deposit and not seeing the welcome bonus. WPT Global's help center says to email support, who will investigate and can add it manually; the address is in the FAQ below.
