Who can join the WPT Global Asia MTT leaderboards?

New and existing players in Asia, aged 18 or over, with one player per household or device and no logins from restricted regions. Which countries count as Asia: WPT Global has not stated this publicly; official announcements prevail.

Do satellites and freerolls earn leaderboard points?

No. The weekly Asia MTT leaderboard excludes freerolls, invitational tournaments and satellites, whether online or live. Every other tournament, step tournaments included, earns points, and the Super Package converts those weekly results.

How do I use the weekly US$110 ticket?

It enters the US$110 online qualifier, which awards a US$1,100 WPT Prime Taiwan Main Event seat. The ticket itself expires on December 31, 2027, but the satellites only run until December 27, 2026, so use it before then.

Can I give a Main Event seat I won to a friend?

Yes, with conditions. A US$1,100 seat can go to a friend with a fully KYC-verified WPT Global account, and the transfer must be done by December 30, 2026. If you win several seats, the first is yours to use. US$110 tickets can't be transferred.

How is the US$500 in the Super Package paid?

WPT Global says the US$500 toward costs is credited to the winner's WPT Global account, alongside the Main Event seat and Black Card perks. How it can be used or withdrawn: WPT Global has not stated this publicly; official announcements prevail.

Will the weekly leaderboard continue after December 20?

The Super Package ends on December 20, 2026 and the satellites on December 27. The weekly leaderboard's terms say it runs until further notice, but its page only gives dates to December 20. WPT Global has not stated this publicly; official announcements prevail.

I'm not in Asia. Are there promotions for me?

These three are for players in Asia only. WPT Global runs different promotions in different regions, so check the Promo section of the app after you log in. The welcome package applies everywhere WPT Global operates except Mexico and the Philippines.

Which three promotions are running, and until when?

Both leaderboards are open to new and existing players in Asia only. All three promotions require you to be 18 or over, count one player per household or device, and exclude anyone logging in from a restricted region. Which countries count as Asia: WPT Global has not stated this publicly; official announcements prevail. Outside Asia these promotions don't apply, and because WPT Global's promotions differ by region, the Promo section of the app shows what is on offer where you are.

How are weekly leaderboard points calculated?

The weekly board counts regular tournaments. Freerolls, invitational events and satellites, online or live, score nothing; every other tournament counts, step tournaments included, and a result goes to the week in which the tournament started. There are two kinds of points:

Early-bird points: register before a tournament starts and it earns you 1 point.
Prize points: once you cash, your actual prize divided by a single buy-in. Rebuys don't change the divisor.

For example, winning US$110 in a US$11 tournament gives 10 prize points, plus 1 early-bird point if you registered before the start. Ties go to the bigger total prize money, then to more early-bird points, then to more tournaments played. A top-91 finish in any week earns a US$110 satellite ticket, which can't be exchanged for cash or transferred and expires on December 31, 2027.

How does the nine-week Super Package leaderboard work?

There is no separate tournament series. Your final position on each weekly leaderboard converts into points, and the nine weeks are added together. The top 100 each week score:

Ties go to whoever has more weekly first places, then more weekly top-3 finishes, then the higher total of weekly points. Each of the top 30 wins a package worth US$1,600: a US$1,100 WPT Prime Taiwan Main Event seat, US$500 toward costs credited to their WPT Global account, and Black Card perks.

Which satellite routes lead to the Main Event?

The US$110 qualifier awards a WPT Prime Taiwan Main Event seat worth US$1,100, and the weekly leaderboard tickets go straight to that stage. Schedules and buy-ins are in the tournament lobby of the app.

What does the Black Card give you, and when is the KYC deadline?

Players who win a Main Event seat online and complete check-in at the venue receive a physical Black Card. The perks only count if you wear the official WPTG logo armband throughout the event:

Bubble protection: bust one place short of the money in the Main Event and your Main Event buy-in is refunded to your WPT Global account
iPhone: every Black Card player who reaches the final 18 gets one, or a prize of equal value depending on supply
Last-survivor prizes: the three best-placed Black Card players in the Main Event win US$10,000, US$5,000 and US$2,500

The KYC deadline is December 30, 2026. Package and seat winners who haven't completed full verification by then lose their prize, with no compensation. You can win more than one seat, but the first one is yours to use. A seat can be transferred to a friend with a fully verified WPT Global account, also by December 30, 2026; US$110 tickets can't be transferred.

When is the WPT Prime Taiwan live event?

The WPT Prime Taiwan festival runs January 2–11, 2027, and the Championship, the Main Event, runs January 7–11. Online qualifiers are seated in Day 1A or Day 1B on a first-come, first-served basis; once those flights fill, the organizer assigns another one.
