WPT Global Withdrawal Guide: Steps, Timing and Rules

What do you need before you can withdraw?

• Turnover: the withdrawal policy requires you to wager at least 1x your deposit before you request a withdrawal.
• First deposit: under the welcome offer, your first deposit has to be fully used before you can withdraw winnings generated from it.
• Verification: you may be asked for KYC before your first withdrawal. It usually takes up to 72 hours once every document is in, and if verification isn't completed within 30 days, the withdrawal can be cancelled.
• Method: withdrawals go back through the payment method of your most recent deposit, split proportionally if you used several.

How do you withdraw from WPT Global in 6 steps?

1. Log in to WPT Global. Open the app or desktop client and enter your username and password.
2. Open the Cashier. It is in the main menu; on desktop, the menu runs down the left side.
3. Choose Withdraw. The cashier then lists the payout methods open to you.
4. Pick a method and enter the amount. Choose the same method you used for your latest deposit, then type the amount.
5. Request the withdrawal. If verification is requested, upload the documents as instructed.
6. Track it in the cashier history. The status of every withdrawal appears there, and if WPT Global needs more information it emails your registered address.

How long do WPT Global withdrawals take?

WPT Global gives two timeframes. Its withdrawal policy says requests are usually processed within 12 hours. Its terms are more cautious: once verification is complete, WPT Global will endeavour to process a withdrawal within 72 hours, and large amounts can take longer because they go through enhanced security checks first.

Our reading of the two: a verified account withdrawing a modest sum is more likely to see the 12-hour figure, while a first withdrawal that triggers KYC, or a large one, can run to 72 hours or beyond.

Remember that "processed" and "in your account" are different moments. Once WPT Global has processed a withdrawal, the time it takes to reach you depends on your bank, card or wallet.

On turnover, an example: deposit US$100 and you need at least US$100 in bets before you can request a withdrawal. How poker hands and tournament buy-ins count towards that figure: WPT Global has not stated this publicly; official announcements prevail. If you aren't sure you've met it, ask support before you request.

Are there fees, minimums or maximums?

Why might a withdrawal be refused or cancelled?

• You chose a different method from your most recent deposit; WPT Global may refuse it and suggest the original method
• You haven't wagered 1x your deposit yet
• Your KYC documents don't meet the rules, for example an ID photo with a corner cut off or proof of address older than three months
• Verification wasn't completed within 30 days

Can you move money to another player instead?

WPT Global offers an official player-to-player (P2P) transfer in the cashier, available once you have completed KYC. It moves funds between player accounts, so it is not a way to get money to your own bank or wallet. Follow the on-screen steps and double-check who you are sending to.
